Abstract: By means of chemical composition design,reheating,rolling,cooling,heat treatment process optimiza-tion and fine control in the entire course of development,60 mm thickness 13MnNiMoR steel plate for boiler and pres-sure vessel has been successfully developed. The finish product possesses good ambient and elevated temperature me-chanical properties and uniform through thickness properties. The metallurgical analysis results show that the micro-structure is consisted of homogeneous ferrite + pearlite and less bainite.
