Analysis of the Efficacy of Pulsed Radiofrequency in the Treatment of Sacral Pain

Abstract: Objective To investigate the effect of pulsed radiofrequency in the treatment of intractable sacral pain. Methods 13 cases of application of pulsed RF technologies in the treatment of refractory sacroiliac joint pain,after six months of follow- up,record the postoperative 2 weeks and discharged after 1 month,3 months,6 months of pain relief degree and complications,and patients on therapeutic effect of satisfaction. Results Postoperative 2 weeks of pain in patients with different degrees of ease,the excellent and good rate was 100%,but with the extension of time,most of the patients with different degree of recurrence,after 6 months,the excellent and good rate was only 46. 2%; patients satisfaction with treatment effect was 97. 3%. Conclusion The short term of pulse radiofrequency can significantly reduce the pain of the patients with the pain of the sacral joint,the curative effect is reliable,the satisfaction degree is up to standard,and it is worthy of clinical popularization and application.
