Abstract: Discharge of many organic pollutants into the water worsens the water crisis and overbalances the environmental ecology. The photocatalytic is an effective and friendly approach to degrade the organic pollutants in water. It can also accelerate water circulation and ease the water crisis. Combining water treatment process, the article focuses on photocatalytic material morphology and function, reviews the research process in photocatalytic water treatment and analyzes its future direction.
