Abstract: Core courses instruction inuniversity should not stop at teaching the existing knowledge but more attention should be paid to foster the students’ ability of discovering and solving problems. Case-based teaching is an effective method of enhancing students’ ability as well as simulating learning enthusiasm. During the instructing of fruits, vegetables candied and jam processing in Fruit and Vegetable Processing course, students’ learning initiative and effort level are improved by the appropriate cases which set with products evaluation. Students’ creativity of using knowledge to solve practical problems is also developed,satisfied educating result is achieved.
