Abstract: The Xiang Nong Da 1,one mainly cultivated cotton was selected as material, growing under various levels of light and potassium. Results showed that it had highest height in sun -shading,decreasing time lighting had no remarkable effect on height;it was significantly different, controlling under discrepant light in chlorophyll content:normal light >reduced light > sun -shading.Sun -shading,however,impacting on fresh weight of aerial part and dry weight of individual remark-ably,reduced light had no impact on two characters. There are striking differences in height, leaf square, chlorophyll content and individual dry weight under different potassium levels, and those index applying for K (+K)are higher than that in K (-K).This indicates that K is important especially for promoting seedlings construction and essential nutrition. It has no differ-ence in individual K content,K accumulation between B1A1 and B1A3;however,between B1A1 and B1A2,had significantdifference in individual K content and K accumulation. There is no difference in the efficiency of K in three light styles.
