Abstract: The ditransitive constructions in Shang Shu have been used in different contexts:if the indirect object indicates person(s)whose social positions are lower than the person(s)serving as the subject of the sentence,it is located right to the verb;if the indirect object indicates the nation, god or person(s)whose social positions are higher than the person(s)serving as the subject,it is located behind the direct object. It means that the degree of affectedness of the indirect object decides the order of indirect objects.
