Abstract: Hollow mesoporous silica spheres( H-BMMs)were prepared under room temperature and hy-drothermal condition with different additions of N,N-dimethylformamide( DMF)by using obtained RF la-tex and cetyltrimethylammonium bromide( CTAB )as dual templates. The morphology and structure of H-BMMs were characterized by using XRD,TEM,N2 adsorption-desorption and FTIR techniques. In addi-tion,its drug-loading application was preliminary investigated using ibuprofen as a model drug. The results showed that H-BMMs showed high specific surface area(1 100 m2/g)and narrowpore size distribution centered at 2. 3 nm. Thereafter, the narrowpore size of H-BMMs decreased with the increase of DMF and overhigh crystallization temperature can completely destroy the mesoporous pore. In addition,H-BMMs showed high drug-loading potential(32%).
