Abstract: There are 4 kinds of method in determination of Ammonia nitrogen, such as Nashi colorimetric, distillation and titration method, Salicylic acid colorimetric and gas phase molecular absorption spectrometry, each method has different scopes. Nashi colorimetric is often used to monitoring industry. The Nashi colorimetric method and gas phase molecular absorption spectrum method for ammonia nitrogen containing high calcium and magnesium ion content in water determination were discussed. By a series of experiments show that, compared with the gas molecules was more suitable for the determination of ammonia nitrogen in wastewater with high content of calcium absorption spectroscopy, without pretreatment, simple operation, reliable results.
