Abstract: To study the impact of disengagement of steel-concrete joint section on the railway cable-stayed bridge structure,the left main bridge of the Yongjiang River Bridge,a railway steelconcrete hybrid girder cable-stayed bridge,was taken as the study background.The ANSYS software was used to establish the model of the 1/2of the steel-concrete joint section.The technique of birth and death of elements developed in the finite element method was used to destruct the concrete elements in the base of the steel plates,simulate the disengagement destruction and calculate the stress and displacement of the joint section before and after the disengagement in different stages,such as construction stage or initial operation stage,long-term operation stage.The results of the study indicate that during the construction stage or initial operation stage,the stress and deformation after the disengagement exhibits distinct variation in some parts of the structure,in the disengagement area,the bulging distance between the steel plate and concrete is relatively large,the overall stress level shows no obvious change and the structure is safe.In the long-term operation stage,the main tensile stress level in some parts after disengagement shows the sign of increase,the overall stress distribution law is the same,the vertical displacement is relatively vulnerable to disengagement,the bulging distance between the steel plate and concrete is small,and the structure is safe.
