Clinic evaluation of nursing intervention in appendicitis after operation and complications

Abstract: Objective To observe the clinical effect of nursing intervention in pediatric appendicitis after operation and postoperative complications,in order to provide reference for clinical nursing. Methods 92 cases were randomly divided into control group and treatment group with 46 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine postoperative nursing,the treatment group based on the treatment in the control group was additionally given nursing intervention. Observed the clinical effect after 2 weeks. Results In the treatment group,disappearing time of postoperative abdominal distention,recovery time of intestinal function,the average hospitalization time was better than that in the control group( P < 0. 05); postoperative complication rate was 84. 78% in control group,39. 13% in the treatment group,and there was statistically significant difference between them( P <0. 05). Conclusion Reasonable and effective nursing intervention in appendicitis after surgery can not only improve the clinical symptoms and reduce complications,but also conducive to the rehabilitation of patients,worthy of popularization and application.
