Abstract: The engineering parameters and main features of the new Tokamak KT-5C,including thin wall vessel,magnets,field strength,power supply and dischargeplasma,are described,and some experiments related to the undertaking project,such as RF wave,shaping,compression and various diagnostics,are alsodiscussed.
