Keyword:  Poriatin: AldosteroneAldosterone antagonistAldosterone receptorNa+/K+ ratio;
Abstract: Poriatin can bind to renal cytopiasmic aldosterone receptors in vitro and have an anti-aldosterone activity and enhances urinary Na+/K+ ratio with dose-dependence in rats. It did not affect the aldosteroae and angiotensinⅡ concentrations in rat plasma. These suggest that poriatin is an aldosterone antagonist.
