IN-VITRO STUDY OF INDUCING INTERLEUKINS BY S-O2-1 RIBOSOMAL VACCINE

Abstract: Previous experimental results in our laboratory showed that a nonpathogenic Gram-negative bacterial vaccine(S-O2-l) was a good macrophage stimulator with significant antitumor activity.This paper reported the production of Interleukin 1 and 2 induced by ribosomal vaccine of S-O2-1 bacteria in-vitro.We found that S-O2-1 ribosomal vaccine directly acted on spleen cells to produce Interle-ukin-2(IL2) and on peritoneal adherent cell to produce Interleukin-1(IL1). The productivity of IL1 was much more higher than that of IL2.
