Abstract: The inhibition of Ca++ to streptomycin antibodyantigen interaction is confirmed by passive hemagglutination test, passive cutaneous anaphylaxis (PCA)reaction and ELISA. The inhibition may be the result of Ca** combining with SM antigen, which blockaded the antigenic determinant of the SM antigens. It may also be one of the reasons that the preparation of calcium is widely used for saving anaphylactic shock patients caused by streptomycin and has a good clinical effect.
