Abstract: Bleomycin A6 inhibited markedly the growth of sarcoma 180 Ehrlich ascites carcinoma (solid type), esophageal carcinoma SGA-73, and Harding Passey melanoma in mice,the inhibition rate being 85-90%.Bleo-mycinA6 inhibited markedly the proteinbio-ynthesis of esophageal carcinoma Eca 109cells in culture. At a concentration of 0.1 meg/ml., the inhibition rate was 68.3%. Bleomycin A6 evidently inhibited the protein biosynthesis of hepatoma cells(ascite type), yet the inhibition rate was lower than that of Bleomycin A5.
