Abstract: Objective To understand the state of food sanitation in Chong’an district and to provide references for food sanitation monitoring and management. Methods The detection results of foods sold in school canteens and catering units in the district were statistically analyzed. Results The annual qualified rate in 2010-2013 were successively 57. 7%,76. 2%,63. 2% and 67. 9%. The qualified rate of different kinds of foods showed statistical difference: qualified rate of fast food > salted vegetables > cooked meat product > non-fermented soy products( χ2= 23. 74,P < 0. 01). Conclusion The food sanitary monitoring should be strengthened to improve the food sanitary status,especially monitoring on cooked food in loose packing.
