Abstract: Women’s Informal Dress changed from a tight shape into a wide shape during Tang Dynasty. At the early stage of Tang Dynasty, women’s Informal Dress showed a tight shape like such dress in Sui Dynasty. Women’s Informal Dress changed into a wide shape at the mid stage of Kaiyuan period, which has been proved by Image Materials from Xue Jing’s tomb. In Tang Dynasty,a lady wearied a Shanzi(衫子), tied a Qun(裙)around her chest and tucked her Shanzi into her Qun, left the ribbon on the Qun hanged down from her chest and pulled her Pei over her shoulders as typical casual clothing, which continued to the Five Dynasties.
