Abstract: The effects of alternating magnetic field on the grain size and density of dislocation of cold rolled sheet produced by using thin slab in the cooling process after rolling were studied by experiment. The results show that the alternating magnetic field can effectively promote the grain growth, increase dislocation motion ability, and reduce the dislocation density. Meanwhile, the mechanical properties decrease because of the decreasing of the dislocation density and increasing of the grain size, which is conducive to the production of cold rolling.
