Abstract: Trimethyl-s-triazine was prepared from acetonitrile,ethanol,hydrogen chloride,acetic acid,using benzene as solvent,and the target compounds 2,4,6-( 1-naphthylethyl)-s-triazine,2,4,6-tris( 2-naphthylethyl)-s-triazine was synthetised with trimethyl-striazine and α-naphthaldehyde,β-naphthaldehyde. The structure of the target compounds was confirmed by IR,MS( MALDI-TOF),Hydrogen spectrum and other modern analytical method. The UV absorption spectra,fluorescence spectra and other properties of these compounds were studied. New functional materials and theoretical basis was provided for the development and utilization of both optical and electrical properties of the triazine derivatives.
