Influence of warm rolling temperature on microstructure,texture and magnetic properties of Fe-6.5% Si thin strip

Abstract: The influence of warm rolling system on edge cracks,microstructure,texture and magnetic properties of Fe-6.5 % Si thin strip with a final thickness of 0.50 mm was studied using optical microscope,X-ray diffractometer and magnetic measurement.The results showed that the edge crack could be effectively reduced by increasing warm rolling temperature.With the warm rolling temperature increasing,the average size of recrystallized grain decreased firstly and then increased,theλtexture in annealing strips decreased and theγtexture increased gradually.The magnetic induction intensity(B800and B5000)and the iron loss(P1.0/50)decreased gradually with the warm rolling temperature increasing.
