Shape measurement and 3D reconstruction of heliostat for solar tower power plant

Abstract: Heliostat is a vital equipment of solar thermal power tower plant,a fast and accurate measurement method of heliostat shape is critical for high-efficiency operation of the plant. In this paper,the principle and method of the heliostat shape measurement based on 2D fringe reflection technology and binocular vision are deeply studied,the results are combined with the Hermite interpolation method to develop a new method for 3D shape reconstruction of the heliostat. The new method has a better application prospect to enhance the shape measurement efficiency and competitiveness of heliostat.
