Study on photovoltaic grid-connected inverter based on quasi-PRI and repetitive control

Abstract: PV grid-connected inverter control strategy performance directly affects the output power quality. A hybrid control method that combines quasi-proportional resonant integral(PRI) control and repetitive control is proposed to overcome the shortage of resonant control in this paper. The QPR controller is designed as a zero-tracking-error controller for fundamental frequency, the repetitive controller is designed as a harmonic compensation to suppress low frequency harmonics and the integral controller is designed to eliminate low-frequency interference of DC. The steady-state error is analyzed in this paper. Finally, some simulations and experiment results prove the control strategy can greatly reduce harmonics, and has an excellent dynamic and steady-state performance.
