Abstract: This paper presents the operating principle, design, structure, manufacture technolgy and testing results of a magnetie focused and electric streaked PS image coverter with MCP internal intensification which has been manufactured in Xian Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics. Theoretical analysis gives time resolution tins of 17PS when V=1×109cm/s,Ec=1kv/mm, δ=10Lp/mm. Practical test gives time resolution t(ins of 80PS when V=1.8×108cm/s, E=1kv/mm.
