PVC MODIFIED BY COMPOSITE FILLERS oF COAL DUST AND RED MUD

Abstract: Coal dust and red mud are fag-end taken off from power plants and alumina factories respectively.We have developed composite fillers of coal dust and red mud for PVC to take good use of the fag-end.The experiment shows that red mud improves proceessability of APVC (PVC modified by coal dust), reduces plasticizing time, increases the tensile strength of the material. The composite fillers of red mud/coal dust lower down the cost of PVC products.
