Abstract: The governing stability in engines is discussed in this paper.As an exa-mple,governing of diesel engines,especially the ″hunting″of diesel enginesusing the Chinese No.1 injection pump with the T6 type flying ball governoris investigated,the cause and effect of the hunting in diesel engines is ana-lyzed and remedy method is discussed.Such analysis and experimental me-thod can be also applied to the stability analysis of other prime movers.
