Abstract: From the aspects of forest in regulating air temperature, balancing the content of CO2 and O2, and cleaning atmosphere, this paper summarizes the ecological function of urban forest and also expounds some suggestions to the construction and planning of urban forest throughout the discussion on the principles of boundary effectiveness, geographical landscapes, entirety and systematicness of ecosystem, and the multi-function and opening characteristics of ecosystem.
