Abstract: This paper deals with the experimental research on the control of fiber drawing stochstic process, which is a multi- input and single-output process with measurement time-delay and non-linear character. The problems discussed are the derivation of the dynamical expression of the process, the identification of parameters; minimal variance control; the connection and hierarchy processing of two micoroprocessors etc- Adaptive control scheme is derived, which automatically calculates and updates the control parameter β0 and forgeting factor ρin real -time. Results of the on-line experiments confirm the anticipated effects.
