Abstract: From the steady error analysis of the initial alignment of an inertia navigation system, we discovered that there exists a kind of system with steady errors. In such a system, no matter how to design the dynamic compensator for the system, in the regulation output of the closed-loop system there always exists the steady errors. The steady errors of regulation output relate only with the structural parameter of the open-loop system but is iudependent of the structure and parameters of the dynamic compensator. We call this kind of systems the systems with steady errors. In this paper the structural characteristic of the open-loop system with steady errors is discussed, and the formulas for calculating the steady errors by the stauctural parameters of the open-loop system is given.
