Abstract: In this paper, the attitude control system reconfiguration for a thre axis stabilized remote sensing satellite is discussSed in case of failure of parts of wheels or yaw channel gyros in the control system. when pitch channel wheel is normal and the rest wheels are in failure,the control concept is the normal wheel control in bigger bias momentum state for the pitch channel and the magnetic control for the roll - yaw channel. When the yaw channel gyros are in failure and the rest components are normal, the whecon and the PIM control method are combined into the design of the control system. the design is evaluated by the actual attitude control system. The computer simulation results have demonstrated that the control system based on the design can basically accomplish the control tasks in case of failures.
