Reliability Analysis of Reintegration Dual-Computers Systems

Abstract: In this paper, Markov process is used ta set up reliability modele of fault tolerant dual - computers system (FTDS) and reintegration dual - computer system (RDS) respectively, and emphasis is put on the study of the effect of RDS reintegration time on system reliability. The conclusions show that the reliability of RDS is superior to that of FTDS and in general conditions (δ ＞ 10), the effect of RDS reintegration time on system reliability can be neglected, thus the reliability model of RDS can be simplified.
