Abstract:
In this paper,the minimum-fuel,multiple-impulse, time-fixed rendezvous problem based on the linearized relative motion equation is investigated. Lagrangian multiplier method is used to obtain the optimal number of impulses, their times, magnitudes and directions. Finally, the effect of initial conditons and rendezvous time on fuel consumption are discussed.
