Abstract: This paper presents a formula for control equations in which the control error is expressed as a quaternion and used to space vehicle attitude control system.The qpplication of the minimum principle of Pontryagin to control law of RCS is presented in this paper.The re- sults not only can be used to the rendezvous and docking phase but also canbe used to ascent phase and re-entry phase of space vehicle.
