Abstract: Tomahawk missile is an advanced cruise missile,which was developed by U.S.A.in the early 1970’s.It can be launched from surface,subsurface and air platforms.Its trajectory is variable,and it has good concealing character and strong penetrate ability.This missile adopts a digital scene matching are a correlator,therefore the guidance accuracy is obviously improved.This paper introduces principle and composition of a digital scene matching area correlator which is used in the Tomahawk cruise missile.
