Abstract: In order to ensure the accuracy and improve the performance of optical communication system,the causes of the receiving beam energy loses and the receiving signal weakens when optical communication happens were analyzed,and a suitable way was proposed.First,by the sensitivity of optical communication to the atmospheric channel attenuation,four factors from atmospheric environment including fog,rain,snow and atmospheric turbulence were analyzed.Second,the effect of intensity fluctuation and beam drift in the fog,rain,snow and atmospheric turbulence on the optical communication were discussed.Finally,through the analysis of the data,the suitable atmospheric environment for optical communication was obtained and the quality of optical communication can be ensured on the premise of the rational use of atmospheric laser communication equipment.
