Abstract: Considering the complex environment for Airborne Warning and Control System( AWACS) and the information redundancy problem caused by different types of sensors, the state of research on architecture of multi-sensor management system is discussed. The basis for architecture design of the management system is analyzed based on the key technologies of sensor management and the relation between the sensor management system and other systems. Then, a new architecture is proposed, which provides a theoretical guidance for AWACS sensor management system formation.
