Abstract: Based on an examination of the characters of Miao People in Songtao, the inheritance and changes in customary law of this people in Qing Dynasty, and the elements influencing the changes, this paper aims to make an initial summary of the historical evolution of this customary law of this people in this period, and attempts to outline roughly its inheritance and changes.
