Abstract: Carrying out the service of government information openness is not only the social responsibility performed by the public library, but also an effective way to expand service and display image. The gist of involving the public library into the system of government information openness and the approach to carry out the service of government information openness are discussed in this paper. What’s more, some suggestions about further development are proposed.
