Abstract: In order to promote the development of residential demand response service,support related home appliances manufacturers to complete production and improvement of power demand response based home appliance,an interface device applied to residential electrical equipment is studied and designed.The hardware and software architecture of the device are described,and the hardware scheme and software function design are completed.The application method is introduced under application scene of demand response project,such as direct load control,interruptible load control,and automated demand response.It is verified that the device can extend demand response function of home appliances without increasing the production cost,and achieve the bidirectional interaction between residential users and grid companies,as well as making residential users automatically participating in demand response.
