Abstract: Objective:To observe the clinical effect of combined traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment of diabetic nephrop-athy.Methods:92 cases of diabetic nephropathy patients were randomly divided into experimental group(n =48)and control group(n =44).The control group was treated with conventional therapy and the experimental group was given Chinese medicine therapy.Compare the clinical efficacy, urinary microalbumin(urine microUMBumin,UMB)urinary creatinine urine creatinine(UCR),24 hours urine pro-tein quantitation, serum creatinine, serum creatinine,SCR)and blood urea nitrogen and blood urea nitrogen(BUN)and fasting and postprandial blood glucose. Results:After treatment, the efficiency was 94.8% in test group and 82.8% in the control group.Compared the efficient of two groups, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).The 24 hours urine protein,SCR,bun of Two groups were decreased, but the test group decreased more significantly;the UMB/UCR of experimental group was higher than those in control group(P <0.05).The fasting blood glucose and postprandial blood glucose of test group were respectively(6.57 ±1 .38)mmol·L -1 and (8.00 ±1 .38)mmol·L -1 .The fasting and 2H blood glucose of control group were(7.67 ±2.38)mmol ·L -1 and (8.80 ± 1 .45)mmol·L -1 .Compared of two groups, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusion:The combination of tra-ditional Chinese and western medicine treatment of diabetic nephropathy has obvious curative effect and can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of the patients.
