Abstract: In this paper selected search results from DWPI database and CNABS database as the sample, patents on FSW are comprehensivly statistical summarized according to the method of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis.It summarizes the technology status and development trends of FSW and level of research and patent application status of the major countries in the field level of friction stir welding.
