Research of all-optical single sideband modulation based on cross-gain modulation

Abstract: An all-optical single sideband modulation technology based on cross-gain modulation is proposed,which has unique advantages for all-optical processing of RF signals.The wireless communication system based on optical carrier frequency of the SSB is designed,and experimental verification is done.Simulation results show that the eye pattern has no significant difference in length before and after fiber transmission,and the power loss is 1 .8 dB and BER of the system is 1 0 -9 after transmitting over 25 km fiber.
