Abstract: Shallow seam mining induces ecological deterioration on the surface, the root cause of shallow dive loss is the instability of water resisting groups which is caused by mining, in order to acquire the rational parameters of strip-filling, based on the geology of Yushenfu shallow seam in West China, developed Sand-based paste filling materials, tested the basic mechanical parameters of Sand-based paste filling materials and clays, devel-oped the similar materials of Sand-based paste filling materials and clays, studied on long wall strip-filling mining by physical simulation experiment, concluded the height law of the "upward crack"and "downward crack"under different filling-gap width and filling-body width, the movement law of Water Resisting Groups under different filling-gap width and filling-body width was obtained, which provides the technical support for strip-mining.
