Abstract: External therapy of TCMhas many methods.Its main principle is direct effects on diseases by drugs or stimulation,this method can avoid the effect on liver from oral medicine and overcome the gastrointestinal digestive juices to affect drugs.Now,there are many methods in clinical treatment of mammary gland hyperplasia,such as oral Chinese herbal medicine after the treatment based on syndrome differentiation,external application of Chinese medicine,traditional Chinese medicine wash-out,cataplasm,acupuncture,the massage and magnetic therapy,all of these obtained good curative effect in clinical report.But,now the curative effectvaluation standard inTCMtreatmentofmammary gland hyperplasia is notyetobjective.It is always lack of reliable index and follow-up data in most clinical reports,and lack of large sample or multiple center clinical study.TCM treatment of mammary gland hyperplasia needs more standardized and more objective research.
