Abstract: The development of voids and interstitial loops are the basic aspects of the microstructure changes of the material under irradiation. This paper gives the solution to the Fokker-Planck equation describing the evolution of the interstitial loops. The solution reveal the features of the loop growth versus size and time under irradiation. As to 316 stainless steel, the calculated values are in accordance with the experimental results. It can rapidly work out the concentrations of the large size loops under high dose.
