Abstract: Some of the calcareous tissues have the advantages that they can hardly be polluted so as to be preserved for a long time. The human calcareous tissues are full of so much calcium and keratin protein that the DNA are embedded in them, which is difficult to extracted. The methods about extraction of DNA from calcareous tissues are summarized in this paper.
