Abstract: Experiment study was carried out on the low speed two-stage axial compressor about various injection arrangement and injection parameters,and the reason why the micro injection enhanced the compressor stability was explored.The results indicate:under the precondition that injection is equally distributed circumferentially and injectors aren’t less than 4,the key influential factor to the compressor stable margin improvement is the outlet momentum of every injector.The mechanism of micro injection improvement stability is to suppress modal wave in the frequency and pressure amplitude,and closer to the injection means more modal wave is suppressed.Once injection can’t suppress modal wave,the compressor enters into the stall condition.
