Abstract: Objective To analyze situation of HBsAg carrying in children,and then evaluate the effects of hepatitis B vaccine taken into country planned immunization since 1992.Methods ELISA methods were applied for HBsAg detection by using venous blood samples from children taking medical examination in the hospital in 1998 to 2011.Results In total 1 624,there were 41 HBsAg-positive youngsters,and the positive rate was 2.52%.There were 813 boys,including 22 HBsAg-positive persons,and the positive rate was 2.71%;there were 811 girls,including 19 HBsAg-positive persons,and the positive rate was 2.34%;however,the positive rate between sex groups had no statistically significance(P>0.05).Conclusion The preventions of hepatitis B vaccine are effective,and it should continue to strengthen prevention and control of hepatitis B-related works,to reduce the infection rate of HBV in children.
