Abstract: The nature of secretary work decides that secretary is closely related to management. With the development of society, the function of secretary has changed, and a management-type secretary” has formed and developed. Then how to cultivate the management conception and management ability of students majoring in Secretary Science has become a teaching-reform project deserving researching for the Secretary Majors in colleges and universities. In this paper, it is held that the important way to improve the management ability and cultivate the management-type secretary adapting to the times is to start with the cultivation of the management conception of students majoring in Secretary Science. Then, it is vital to scientifically set a practice-oriented curriculum system and improve teaching method to take practice teaching, case study, role play and experiencing teaching.
