Abstract: Aiming at the existing problems related to the mercury in PVC production by calcium carbide process,combined with daily management, to the catalyst in production use, pollution control and waste water treatment according to the actual situation is summarized.Through the use of low mercury catalyst , using hydrochloric acid desorption technology depth , mercury containing waste water treatment technology and other measures, to reduce mercury consumption and effective processing technology products related to mercury, the mercury containing waste water collected after treatment can meet the discharge standard.
