Abstract: Objective To observe the clinical effect of lipoic acid combined with Kudiezi Injection in treating diabetic peripheral neu-ropathy. Methods 64 patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy treated in our hospitals were selected and randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group, 32 cases in each group. The control group used the therapy of Lipoic Acid Injection, while on this basis the treatment group was added with Kudiezi Injection. The clinical total effective rate and the conduction velocity of common peroneal nerve and median nerve after a period treatment were observed in the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of control group, the difference was statistically significant ( 93. 75% vs. 59. 38%, P <0. 05 );the conduction velocity of common peroneal nerve and median nerve before treatment had no statistical difference between the two groups ( P > 0. 05 ) , while which after treatment had statistical difference ( P < 0. 05 ) . Conclusion Lipoic acid combined with Kudiezi Injection in treating diabetic peripheral neuropathy has better clinical effect than single lipoic acid, which can improve the total effective rate of treatment, reduces the suffering of patients and may be extensively popularized in clinic.
